Hi Kirk,

IMO, Toyota had the best idea with their Prius Hybrid.

I've read the next generation of Camry (Best seller for many years in the US) WILL ONLY BE OFFERED IN THE HYBRID VERSION.

It vindicates my jaundiced view of the EV's.

I suspect that the overly hyped EV was more about funding corrupt politicians' campaign funds.

Corrupt politicians can be bought and paid for and then come the mandates to the public vs. common sense and free market pricing as to what the best all around solution was/is depending on where the buyer lived and how they needed to use an EV.

Ditto renewable energy!

I maintain that the OEM's who made the big plunge into only EV's will either disappear and/or experience huge write downs.Cadillac and Buick have been strong armed by Barra, and 1/3 of the Cadillac dealers and literally half of the Buick have sold out back to the factory.

Barra should be fired with out a golden parachute for the pathetic strong arming of a dealer body that brought GM a LOT of sales .and profits in the higher margin products they sold.

JMHO
