Been reading the follow up stories, and the comments, on the failed Tesla Charging.

My solution would be to fit a diesel heater and a "range extender" to deal with cold weather emergency situations.

While the technology gremlins get ironed out over time.

The above news site says cold weather is dangerous and recommends to carry candles and blankets.

Is there something wrong with diesel heaters for emergency use? Sure carry blankets and candles, but a diesel heater too. An inexpensive solution using readily available proven technology.
