At Martin Autopark we had a zero tolerance on drugs or alcohol while at work. I always felt as an owner that applied to me and from the top down. Now he wants to assure his control after selling off too much stock at a high price? He must have read a biography of Steve Jobs. <smile> As far as a non union shop goes, he has made it work, I'd guess by being a worker like the rest of his employees. I remember when he slept at the plant along the line and helped fix assembly issues, in that leadership role, he no doubt gained respect by showing it was important. Being ."a working man's hero is something to be" John Lennon. Some times wealth goes to one's head, no clue at his level of wealth accumulation, so it is a bit natural to expect. Since his purchase of X, I've learned to respect his views in many more ways. I've always said Tesla would go broke in the long run as I do not see EV's as a huge market share product for the large geography of USA. Elon has the first in category status and has gone farther down the maturity of product lifecycle than others. I still think for the US market, having an ICE design will help pay for the ups and downs everyone has in the auto selling cycles of all market segments. Biden ostracized TESLA with his totally political view of "UNION SHOPS ONLY" get his love and rebates, which was totally unfair and political in my view. Both men have issues, but I sure prefer Elon to Joe. I will not be surprised to see TESLA's outrageous valuation implode. In the long run those over valuations never end well, cult like followers or not. i.e. appl, msft, amat, lrcx, intc, csco, xom, cvx. Bob
