I remember working at Microsoft with Nadella was chosen to replace Balmer. Everyone knew he was at the time the Exec VP for the Cloud and was also Indian which raised eyebrows around campus because there has always been an Indian vs Chinese developer rivalry there. But I honestly doubt anyone could have imagined what a significant influence he would have on the direction and success of Microsoft since he took over, Amazing! I can't think if a bigger turnaround has ever occurred in American industrial history, for such an already large and dominant company, than what has happened at Microsoft in the last 10 plus years.
