23 was over 1.5 degrees warmer than the pre-industrial age. If you mean another 1.2 degrees on top of that, 2.7 degrees is realistic, and disastrous.
No it's not "disastrous."

Like you pointed out, the globe is 1.5 degrees warmer than before the Industrial Revolution.

And the environment is just fine. It's changed, for sure, but like I was taught in elementary school, the climate has, is, and always will change.
