You're mixing things up here. There are several issues:

#1 It is unconscionable to promote hiring illegal immigrants. So much so that I have a hard time believing your narrative. Not saying that you are lying, but perhaps you left something out.

#2 We're discussing how to fix the system, not what it is. So the businesses that hire illegal immigrants are a big part of the problem and should pay.

#3 I question if you can consider someone illegal if indeed they have a work permit. This is what doesn't make sense in your narrative.

#4 I am all for free vaccination and free school for children regardless of who they are and where they come from. Ditto for the drivers license.

When I was in Italy I had a drivers license because I was driving across the country. This had nothing to do with my status. And I don't see what benefit there is to America by not validating that whoever is behind the wheels is actually capable of driving.

The same logic applies to schools and vaccination and so on. The harm that will come from having someone spread disease around to everyone is greater than any gains you perceive by denying them.

Fix the problem at the source. If illegal immigrants cannot make money in the US, then they will have no reason to come here.
