Hi Kirk,

To be truthful Lazarus told E_K_S about it way back when it was below a dollar.

I got in at $1.60. As they increased the dividend fractionally, I'd add to it as the yield touched 4%.

The recent acceleration has kept me out and has reduced the dividend yield to below 3%.

Last year (after they wrapped up the calendar year, they announce earnings in the first week of March.

I finished up to a round number in anticipation of the earnings setting a new record. They have been doing that quite predictably since after Covid.

Covid really hurt them as a very large portion of their sales go to restaurants. They sell TOO MUCH of their product to two wholesalers. They've just recently added a third wholesaler (Brookshire Brothers) who serve the Texas market. It should reflect in much improved sales.

The new and young CEO is Tim Anderson whose last job was taking a butter Brand to the national level. I think that is exactly what they should do.

So glad I can now purchase their products in Texas.

It's a slow but steady defensive story.

Bob
