<< You seem to think that the small change in irradiance is cancelling out the greenhouse effect>>

Hi Land Shark.

Sorry... where did I say that?

Rather then start making erroneous assumptions about other peoples thinking, why not look at the data and the argument presented?

Zoe, who is a bit of a demon at writing routines, picking data from databases, shows that the level of short wave irradiance at ground level has increased by 4 watts per meter squared over 35 years.

That is just for starters.

I happen to know the Suns magnetic field has been dropping for decades, I first heard about it as a graduate in the 1970 reading the New Scientist. Things didn't add up back then. This will increase the amount of cosmic rays hitting the Earths atmosphere, which in turn will increase cloud formation. Clouds have a massive capabilities of trapping heat compared to Green House Gases.

In short, there is no "settled science" regarding anthropogenic global warming theory. There are more holes in anthropogenic global warming theory then a big fishing net that is already damaged with large tears in it. It's beyond ridiculous.

I am not the only one saying it either. Loads more like these.

btw when are the like of Bill Gates, the WEF candidates, and other global warming bozos going to do the right thing and tighten down on their own CO2 emissions? What a joke !!!

It's a scam and you seem to have fallen for it hook line and sinker.

Solar irradiance is the flux of energy from the sun hitting the surface of the earth... The Sun's energy is absorbed on Earth's surface and radiated back into space (i.e. black body radiation, look up Planck's equation). The earth traps some of that energy radiated back in its atmosphere and reduces the heat loss (it's called the greenhouse effect). If the solar radiance is constant then there's no cooling or heating due to it's variance. Your chart shows a slight increase in energy flux due the suns irradiance INCREASING. It also shows a net INCREASE in the greenhouse effect due to anthropogenic greenhouse gases (i.e. CO2 and CH4). So the net effect is WARMING. You seem to think that the small change in irradiance is cancelling out the greenhouse effect
Spot on.

You nailed down the physics.

Without some greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere Earth would be a snowball.
