The wave count I posted for SMH was not invalidated at the close.

I have a count for SPX and will post it in the AM after the open. It appears today's decline was a Wave c of on irregular abc. I'll label and describe that pattern on the chart I post.

Kirk, I have yesterday's SPX's decline as a Wave c of an irregular abc. If Wave c ended then the pattern is a running flat. If Wave c needs more work. Maybe a double bottom at Wave a that ended on 1/31/24 at 4845.15.
