Yeah, looks like they've run out of money again. They are throwing a Hail Mary called SparQ. If I were Syquest, I would abandon the EZ-230 altogether and use those resources to ramp up SparQ. SparQ is the best deal out there, a true value to the consumer. Get it while you can. I seriously want Syquest to reconsider their decision not to make SCSI versions, as I think they would absolutely fly out of the door even more than they are now. Also, Mac users tend to use greater amounts of discs (for all of the graphics, audio, and multimedia production that Macs are great for) , so the tie ratios would be higher. Syquest is hoping that Mac users will buy SyJet. Some do, but the absolute value that SparQ offers would be enough to make many Mac using Jaz owners switch over immediately.
