"I give you penicillin

Saved my life in 1962.

I had a staph infection in the right calcanous bone marrow of my right foot. I was in isolation for two weeks in a hospital. If the staph had spread to my bloodstream it would have been over in hours without penicillin.

They had to open the bone to drain the infection with a pump that dripped the liquid penicillin into the bone.

Fortunately I was not allergic to penicillin otherwise I would not be here today.

I am trying to get a reference to that graph... can't find anything at the moment. Reddit is all I have so far.

Sanitation and improved standard of living are cited as important factors in reducing the diseases rather then vaccinations

So what about the Amish communities. Are they badly hurt from lack of vaccinations?
