This is how I invest too. I agree with your whole paragraph here, especially the part about missing the big move because you chased the last buck. The only problem is that there's always two sides to a story and it's easy to get it wrong and not cut losses when you should. Stories are what lead me into my positions. When a story and the financial underpinnings come together, big things can happen.
