I was watching a Rick Rule video -- he had a comment about investments in green stuff -- and he talked about the billions invested and how it had only displace a few % of other resources. This doesn't surprise me.

My only question is when folks are going to give up these "net zero" target years. They are obviously BS at this point.

But when do they admit it and when do they give it up entirely?

I work for an electric utility and I think the official line is 2030.
Ain't no way.

Of course it is probably just public relations.

BTW -- Rick Rule's favorite sectors from that piece -- oil and natural gas.

The title of this is a misnomer ... he does talk about precious metals and uranium -- but the discussion is broader:

They really don't care about all the green BS that developed countries get baraged with.

I am not so sure about that, otoh they don't get as wrapped up about it as Ole Joe and some other Yanks.

A coal billionaire is building the world's biggest clean energy plant and it's five times the size of Paris

Of do they do thinks like this to just talk big green and do both?

China and India both installing record amounts of solar and wind turbine power. China going big on nuclear as well, India a bit less so. India kind of like a sleeping giant, slowly waking up.
