Well.....someone I know is on the move again. But knowing he is bound to return for appointments provides me an anchor, or way, to adjust my thoughts to his activities. I have the feeling he could be going alone, after all, children must go to school to avoid falling behind. and then, children must be provided for and supervised. That doesn't leave many people to come along with him. The total trip must be somewhere between business and pleasure. I know the pleasure part, or part of it at least. I'm hoping a good part. (In celebration of a wedding day quite a while ago). (since fish and company begin to smell after 3 days, and then) Throwing in the fact that he's a good guy. I'll give him 5. I hope at least that many days there, and I'm glad he doesn't smoke. Then he won't have to sneak off into the garage periodically and deposit cigarette butts in a place only he knows about. At least enough time to get tired of hitting some restaurants. enjoy conversation, some laughter, getting over the hubbub of a party gathering. Spilling some coffee in his lap! 7 days would be nice. I hope he can have at least that with his folks, though the same amount of emotion could be spent in two days if need be. I think that part of his trip will make the rest of it worth while. And who knows, I might guess there are at least a few other places where he will stop to visit some loved ones, a friend or two of the past. Absolutely no idea if it will be a car trip. but he will have use of one. and I hope he doesn't have to make friends with any more than about 3 dressers while he's shuttling around and that he can relatively forget about the suitcases instead of continually hauling them here and there. There. That's about it. If there's any business involved in the trip, We could throw in, relatively good weather for travel, ample time between meetings so there's no rush. No flat tires. Good pay for the trouble, And some candy. .....licorice & stuff on the car seat beside him. that the radio in the car works, and the same kind of mouthwash you get in the drug store instead of off that fancy serving tray! (for driving purposes only) I hope he gets some help packing, as most men need so much, and finally perhaps that 15 minutes after starting off, he doesn't go through the typical pain of remembering something he forgot. especially if it's business related!! So that's how I'll think things are going while I'm hashing around doing my silly stuff. & schedule some dust sifting $ such. Have a good trip, my friend! <g>
