Hi Chrissy:

Glad you made it back online. Sorry about the cold, hope you're feeling better now. Did El Nino hit your area with the storms?

Yes, Elvis is definitely a strong individual, with guts. I don't really know if he would have taken the gold, even without the pinched nerve. The judges look for that beautiful, artistic skating that is characteristic of Philippe. Elvis is more athlethic, being into karate, rather than ballet or dance. Artistic impression is very important in figure-skating and Elvis does have it, but not exactly what the judges are looking for.

But he is true to his own art and continues to skate his own way, regardless of what the judges think. He is a very strong and determined young man and deserves to win gold, in my opinion.

The ladies skate today, I know the American ladies are expecting to sweep the medals, hope they do. I think they are all beautiful skaters.

Our women's hockey team lost to the US, but it was a victory for all women, just being able to play in the Olympics, first time ever for the ladies. Did you see the body checks those ladies dished out, wow, pretty physical considering there was supposed to be no body contact at all.

Sorry to hear you are growing things under your bed, yuck. hehehe
