Wow, you could play the record in the store and not buy it? I sure don't remember that.
Sounds kind of cheezy to me, but everything was a lot more laid back then, and there was
not such an abundance of material goods.


There were cubicles within which people could listen and decide if they wanted to buy. The records were costly and no one wanted to buy one they did not like. The store I recall was in the downtown section of Erie. There are no stores there now only offices. One would listen and if they liked it, they would buy it. Otherwise, it went back in inventory.
