Congratulations on your NVDA success!
I bought my last tranche of core NVDA when it crossed $500 late last year; saw the 3rd time charm as it crossed that notable round number and the volume pour in. Held through earnings as my cost was so relatively low and seemed that the boat was loaded to one side calling the top.

So, basically just trading around that main position now.
Loads of people still like it for much higher. I was not aware they were selling licenses to their software so you just don't buy the hardware, you have to keep paying year after year to run it. Long-term, it has been a very bumpy ride (see my log chart below).

Nvidia is on the cusp of an 'entirely new wave of demand,' UBS says

Nvidia making several big announcements at its annual GTC developer conference this week, including the launch of its new Blackwell GPU platform. UBS now believes the company is on the brink of an "entirely new wave of demand," aided by sovereign nations.

Countries like the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Japan, Korea and Malaysia were all specifically mentioned by Chief Executive Jensen Huang, which could result in Nvidia generating $150B in revenue in 2025, up 30% year-over-year, UBS analyst Timothy Arcuri said.

"New pre-packaged and pre-trained modular AI models announced with together with Blackwell should also accelerate the distribution flywheel for [Nvidia's] AI solutions to ride alongside enterprise software," Arcuri wrote in a note. "The entire framework creates a central distribution structure similar to an app store and given the vast array of companies to potentially license NVDA's AI Enterprise software ($4500/GPU/yr), monetization can add up quickly."

Arcuri, who boosted his price target on Nvidia to $1,100 from $800 following the event, said he still has some concerns about supply and the company's ability to beat Wall Street estimates, but any weakness in the near-term is an "attractive buying opportunity given what we think is still out in front of us."
