There is a whole industry built around pump and dumps on small pharmaceutical companies.

The real business model much like DJT is to sell stock. The business never really have a chance of getting FDA approval.

Playing them is simple. They get a new drug they pump it until the FDA review date, then short it. The drug fails the FDA. So they raise more money after the stock craters and then get another drug. The buy point is when they get more funding.

BLUE was the last one played. It was all the rage, until the FDA black boxed it's label.

I'm sure there are many more. I just only trade index futures now mostly. Don't really scan for stocks unless I'm bored.
