Inode,
BTW, you don't mind if I ask -- what evidence convinced you? You know, the strongest evidence that made you feel that way?
1) Trump's character, or lack thereof. His word is complete shit.

2) Trump's overreaction to Carroll's accusations, which all stems from the fact that he can't STFU.

3) Carroll's own testimony, where she has witnesses backing up her claims close to the time of the assault.

4) My belief that Carroll doesn't care about the money but just wants to make sure Trump doesn't get away with what he did to her.

Do I have any reasonable doubts that the incident happened? Yes I do.

Do I think there's a better than 50/50 chance that it happened? Yes I do.

Do I think the new NY law that allowed the Carroll defamation case to go through is constitutional? I'm not sure. Arguing from that angle may be Trump's best chance at appeal. But even then, if the judgements are appealed based on the law being unconstitutional, that only amounts to a legal technicality (although one that is significant and shouldn't be dismissed so easily).

Finally, do I think Trump deserved to have lost both cases? Yes, because he's a fuckin' dumbass.
