Hi Kate,
I admire people like you and like Aswath Damodaran who can stay with an investment long term. Damodaran's cost base for NVDA is $27. But he now holds less than a quarter of the shares that he used to have.

I discuss my longer term investment strategy and technics in The Art of Investing thread. This was my latest post about NVDA, following up on an older discussion: Message 34641784 If you follow that through and search NVDA there, you will see my thinking.

To answer your specific question, I'd give it 50/50 that NVDA will close the gap from this past February. Yesterday I covered half of my NVDA short positions at the close. A 34% gain over a 3 week period is good enough for me, especially since it was 20% of my holdings. Unlike TSLA, they actually have rising sales, which improves the chances of a sharp bounce. Nonetheless, I do not find the long term investment risk/rewards picture appealing.

All the best,
ST

Are you following Wolf for a possible LT buy in? I've been following them, looks like more down and bottom yet to go. I like what they do. They are in a big expansion mode.

Do you own any Solar stocks? They have beat up pretty good over the past few years. Watching a few including CSIQ. Looks like a bottom a bit later this year. They seem to know up or down, not a lot in between.

TIA.
