She demonstrated every Friday in front of the Swedish parliament building. In response, young people worldwide followed her example. It is not the first time Thunberg has received an honorary doctorate. The Belgian university of Bergen awarded her in 2019.

> Greta was given an honorary degree Greta's just a well meaning young woman who was "elected" to be the logo spokesperson for a celebrity worshiping culture, most of which selfishly doesn't care what kind of world they leave behind as long as they get theirs. Why are you folks so obsessed with her? Its not like she herself affects you in any way. She's just one of millions of worried kids.
