Ukraine Scores Massive Weapons Boost From NATO Nation
Published Apr 30, 2024 at 7:46 AM EDT

Ukraine has scored a massive weapons boost from NATO member Germany as part of a fresh tranche of military aid unveiled on Monday.

"Great news from our German friends! Thank you for your steadfast support!" Ukraine's Defense Ministry said on social media, announcing that Kyiv's military will receive more armored personnel carriers, anti-aircraft defenses, and ammunition for its ongoing fight against Russia.

Russian forces have advanced in parts of Ukraine's eastern Donbas region in recent months as Ukraine suffers shortages of ammunition and equipment. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been appealing to his Western allies to provide additional support, saying that his troops are being hindered by low supplies of shells.

As part of its latest military aid package, Germany has provided another 10 "Marder" armored personnel carriers, a second Skynex anti-aircraft system, nearly 30,000 rounds of ammunition for the "Gepard" anti-aircraft gun, ammunition for the Leopard 2 tank, missiles for the Iris-T system, and other supplies.

More SASCHA SCHUERMANN/GETTY IMAGESThe development comes days after German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Ukraine's allies in Europe must continue to provide assistance following a recent $61-billion aid package approved by Washington after months of talks.

Scholz on April 24 described the U.S. military aid package as "an encouraging and necessary signal."

"But I also want to say clearly that the United States' decision doesn't release us here in Europe from the task of further expanding our support for Ukraine so that the country can defend itself against the aggressor," he said.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Monday told reporters during a press conference with Zelensky that it was "not too late" for Ukraine to win the ongoing war.

"Ukraine has been outgunned for months—forced to ration its ammunition. This means that fewer Russian missiles and drones have been shot down. And Russia has been able to push forward along the front line," he said.

"But it is not too late for Ukraine to prevail. More support is on the way."

NATO is "working hard to meet Ukraine's urgent needs," said Stoltenberg.

"And I have been clear that if allies face a choice between meeting NATO capability targets or support to Ukraine, they should support Ukraine, and put plans in place to refill their stockpiles," he added. "Stocks can and will be replenished. Lives lost can never be regained."

Baby donny threatens violence unless he wins
. Baby donny has never lost, he's only been treated unfairly, very unfairly. Thats the only way he can ever lose.

I've long said he'll call on his braindead cult to commit terrorism against the US. Fortunately, they're mostly chickenshit cowards. Look at his trials, he wants massive turnouts of protestors for him at his trials, but there are none.

Trump won't rule out election violence if he loses to Biden in November: 'It depends' (msn.com)

  • Trump's wouldn't dismiss the possibility of political violence this election season if he loses.
  • He said in an interview with TIME that "it always depends on the fairness of an election."
  • Trump also reiterated the possibility he'd pardon the 800+ sentenced Capitol rioters.

Former President Donald Trump said in a new interview that he's not ruling out the possibility of election-related violence if he loses to President Joe Biden in November.

TIME released a lengthy interview with the former president on Tuesday conducted mostly on April 12 at his Mar-a-Lago Club. The conversation focuses on his ambitions in a possible second term, like mass deportations, getting rid of "bad people" in government, and how he might fire his attorney general if they refused to prosecute someone at his command.

When first pressed about the prospect of "political violence" resulting from the upcoming presidential election, Trump ruled out the possibility.

"I think we're gonna have a big victory," he said. "And I think there will be no violence."

Two weeks later, Trump spoke with the TIME reporter for a follow-up and the reporter asked specifically if violence might erupt if he doesn't defeat Biden.

"I think we're going to win," he said. "And if we don't win, you know, it depends. It always depends on the fairness of an election."

Trump also said that he'd "absolutely" consider pardoning each of the more than 800 sentenced January 6 rioters, an idea he's brought up before.

"If somebody was evil and bad, I would look at that differently," he said.

In the years following the Capitol riot, the threat of political and election-based violence doesn't appear to have diminished.

A 2023 poll from the United States Association of Former Members of Congress and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, found that a whopping 84% of ex-members of Congress were worried about election-related violence in 2024. In total, 94% of Democrats said they were "very" or "somewhat" concerned about the threat compared to 74% of Republicans.

Former DC Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone, who was attacked while defending the Capitol on January 6, told Business Insider in February that he was certain election-related violence would return this year, adding that it "never stopped after January 6."

@JuliaDavisNews

Meanwhile in Russia: as usual, when things aren't going Russia's way, Vladimir Solovyov resorts to nuclear threats, urging Moscow to burn Europe and create a sea strait named after Stalin where the U.S. once was. Even fellow propagandists are skeptical.

Broken Cuck,
The only debate is how many times your propaganda has been proven dead wrong.
You haven't proven anything, as usual.

There's a reason why you won't link to the original post, because if you did, you (and anyone else with a drop of intellectual honesty) would realize just how accurate I was:

Message 34167185
So in terms of sheer magnitude, a few hundred Western tanks aren't going to mean much.
I knew from the get-go that 200 tanks won't mean much. I was right then, and I'm right today.

However, I did make a prediction that didn't come true ...
However, the pipeline of Western military assistance is widening. Sending 31 M1 Abrams tanks doesn't sound like all that much, UNTIL you recognize just how complicated the logistics are. That M1 tank is expensive to fuel, operate, and maintain. The supply chain network needs to be set up, along with maintenance crews, parts, and all the associated training.
So in short, the 31 M1 tanks is just the start. The setup of the pipeline is the key here. After the 31 tanks are sent, it would become much easier for America to send more if needed.
What I didn't anticipate was MAGA getting a firm grip on Speaker Mike's Johnson. And it took months before he could break that grasp.

As for whether the U.S. will send more tanks to Ukraine, I really doubt it now, at least for this year. Bradleys, HIMARS, JDAMs, and our own versions of glide bombs (if we can get them working, which for some reason we can't) will be given priority over tanks. There probably won't be another Ukrainian counteroffensive for some time.

As for "proving me wrong," keep trying. I welcome the challenge, especially from PooTin cucks like you ...
