J, Thanks for the post.. My inlaw is Very soft spoken, and the way he has risen in the company has very much been a suprise to him. He is intricately involved in all aspects of the creation, design and production of the product. He knew that Bass had great marketing potential and it did. And it still does. As gifts he always gives his products to us, I have the 5 card, the solitaire, the golf and I gave away the Bass.. It is a cheap gift for him.. <g> He isnt at all an analyst and does not follow the stock of the company, thats what he asks me to do. What I see is this.. the company is very focused and is moving forward, a far cry from the 1st year he was with them. He has mentioned that it will be a task to keep up with the momentum that was established last year, it was a record breaking year, revenues up over 300%. He should have told me <lol> It will be impossible to keep those kind of numbers comming. Bass is a one in a million game (I dont know why it is so popular though) There is fierce competition in the industry and the next competitor was bought up by Hasbro (I think) which gives it more resourses and capital and exposure. Can its new line match the revenue that Bass made? i dont think so. I dont see 1.00 any time soon, but I dont see 25-30 either.. Keep in mind that the financials are low for the industry, but how are they for the historical firm? This isnt another LU or a DELL here, this is a company that has a high beta and a great year behind them which can be challanging since the niche that they establised last year doesnt ensure exact results this upcomming year. Look at how they spin the future, that is what I look at. Great earnings are priced in already, a stock doesnt jump 18 points in 1 year on hype alone (although if it were based on the hype I have seen here it might )
