Cisco,

I must congratulate you on having the chutzpa to buy more Accumed stock today!

I had a rather long conversation with one of the officers today, and I came away encouraged. Let me share a few of my findings.

1) OLYMPUS BUYBACK - Accumed will not, as I had incorrectly predicted, have to reverse sales as a result of this agreement to buy back units shipped to Olympus. In fact there is a pending deal out there which, if signed, would absorb all the equipment immediately.
Perhaps the sales outlook is brightening!

2)PETERS RESIGNATION - Accumed will not be explaining it.

3)PAUL LAVALLE - Having just taken the helm, he and the board will chart a course, under his leadership and vision. In a few weeks, that vision should be shared with us in the form of a conference call.

4)MAINTAINING NASDAQ LISTING - Options are being explored. I think they look upon this as a short term problem which will disappear as sales and earnings roll in. Personally I don't think the small cap listing will depress the share price further.

5)ACQUISITION CANDIDATE - The company recognizes its value, and is aware of their peer group values. While this is not the focus strategy for the company, my sense after the conversation, is that this is an option at the right price. $3 -$4 perhaps ??

6)SAKURA DEAL - This partnership is still alive and well; although the structure and vision for it, as previously announced, will change.

CHEERS! C.S.

Hi all. I'm a new guy to the SI world...so bear with me.

Two questions;
1) I've read several reports as to earnings expectations, but can't seem to find when ACMI announces earnings. Does anyone out there know?
2) Does ACMI still think they can turn a profit for 1998?

Basically, I am looking for a reason not to bail out. I have lost a good deal of money with ACMI in recent months and I am concerned about the shift to the small cap listing. Any opinions?

Thanks

Gianni
