It is true we have been taken over by the oligarchs, but it was entirely the work of the Republican party. Since Hoover, Harding and Coolidge the ONLY Job of the Republican party has been to empower the rich. Our entire deficit is the result of tax cuts for the rich beginning with Bush!! Clinton had us on a glide path to a balanced budget in just 12 years. Trump added almost 8 trillion in just four years with his tax cuts for the rich. And the primary mantra of the Republican party is tax cuts, regulations cuts and allowing the rich to rape our wilderness. If people had been voting for Democrats the last 25 years we would have public financing of campaigns and a balanced budget!!! But Americans are so stupid they even vote for Trump who is a psychopathic criminal, and dumb as a post.
