Don Bubar, President, Avalon Ventures Ltd. will be presenting at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) International Convention and Trade Show, in Toronto, 9:25 am, March 11, 1998, as part of the following Technical Program: NEW DISCOVERIES & DEVELOPMENTS AROUND THE WORLD Chairmen William Mercer, Noranda Mining & Exploration Inc. Mark Smith, Marleau Lemire Securities Inc. The presentation will profile Avalon's Big Whopper discovery. Other presenters during this session include: Placer Dome, Princeton Mining Corporation, Falconbridge Ltd., Cameco Corp., Cogema Resources Inc., Avgold Ltd., Rio Algom Exploration Inc., Industrias Penoles S.A. de C.V., Greenstone Resources Ltd., Inmet Mining Corp., and Minera ABX Exploraciones S.A. Avalon's booth will be located in the Core Shack (high profile, where its invitation only by PDAC). It looks like both drill programs are on schedule. Next week, the Phase 1 Wolf Mountain (PGE+) drilling will likely be completed and Phase II drilling at the Big Whopper (petalite+) will shift from in-fill drilling to exploration drilling. DRT
