OK, where do we start...

<<<Where does it say that people are cancelling their pre-orders?

I did say peruse the "3dfx newsgroups". There are at least six of them. More easily do a search on w4.dejanews.com. I used the terms "cancel* AND Voodoo 2". But for a better "feel" go to the groups themselves and puruse away. Start with 3dfx.products.voodoo2. Also, check the alt.games. newsgroups.

Oh, JFYI, I read that you can cancel your Monster II purchase directly from the CREAF site. These guys are just tooo good.

<<<a poor reputation in the business...

Please enumerate.

<<<It is impossible to know whether or not 12 megs is worth the extra money.

If so, then please explain how you determine whether 8 megs is worth the money. Worth is relative, but if you build it, worth will come.... I'm curious what would make it worth it to you?

John Carmack and the other Id guys spoke of this in an interview recently, you should check it out. I tried to to find it, but couldn't. Try the boot magazine site, www.bootnet.com

The game package at this point are irrelevant. Do you really suppose that if someone wants a 12 meg board NOW, that they're going to wait, because it doesn't include a game??? The earlier adopters will already have all the latest games. Specifically, QUAKE!!!!
