Well....)) Not going to argue about this. It's OT on this board. So...just one reply & we'll move on. Truth is:

Naysayers been sounding the requiem for fossil fuels, for decades. They've been wrong & will continue to be wrong. The vast majority of Americans want what we produce & an extremely unpopular hard left regime has failed to compel them to change their stance.

We've seen a parade of unproven, vastly more expensive, alternatives. Some encountering lengthy delays in regulatory approval. I favor nuclear power but it faces a very long regulatory approval process.

Some of the other heavily touted alternatives, in recent decades, were later revealed as frauds to obtain government grants. Others required enormous upfront investment which they weren't able to raise in the public markets immediately falling back on larger & larger gov subsidies to keep them going. Offshore Wind is just one notable example.

Then there's the issue of constant failure & increasing grid outages due to intermittent, unreliable, solar & wind boondoggles.

For years, many regular posters here have posted about the above with contributions as good or better than anything I've offered. I suggest you discuss the above on your board where alternative energy "adventures"<g> are On Topic.

Good luck with same,
