Tom: 79% Asia increase. That is a surprise. Note the contrast between the AMAT (AMAT said Asia flu impacted growth and sales) comments and Dell. I understand the difference between the two companies (manufacturing/industrial vs. business & retail) You would think that personal and business would be down for computers. JMHO

Mike and Tom: RE: Dell Asian Sales up 79%...

Before getting too carried away with that increase, remember their Asian sales only totalled about $275 million or so.

It is easy to show great growth in small numbers (i.e. from $100 to $200 is 100%, but it is still only $100). That is the market's love. Think about it, DELL's revenues still aren't 50% of CPQs.

Obviously, Dell is a wonderful company and a terrific investment. But, let's put things in perspective.

Luck to both -- CPQ and Dell,

Kevin
