This article explains it all. Naturally if DDIM has troubles doesn't that directly translate to Viasoft and the rest of the Y2K bunch. They mostly all went down yesterday. (naturally I bought some Keane the day before and the TED effect immediately transmitted itself to me!)

Seriously, momentum stocks have a follow the "leader" mentality. If DDIM (and they are not a leader IMO) had come out with super earnings, the "wisdom" would be "Wow, this must be a hot market" and all would go up. It missed thus all (okay mostly) went down.

Have a great day and hopefully it is not raining today in the valley of the sun.
