I've been an Oilers fan since the WHA days

I'll be rooting for your Oilers as well, but if they don't get their offense oiled up, it will be a short series. Anyway, playing ice hockey in south Florida is about as silly as that Jamaican bobsled team in the Winter Olympics.. :-)

sarasota has gotten 15" of rain. fort lauderdale area 13" of rain and one house near Miami has 3 to 4 ft of water in their house.

i spend my winters near Fort Myers and they have had 8" of rain but it is still raining and expected to last through Friday.

main roads close, many on or off ramps flooded and cars stuck.

these storms were forecasted for a few days. i got a couple of warnings on my cell phone here in pa for the sw florida area

tampa is not far from Orlando maybe 90 miles and orlando is partly sunny. i think you all have a hockey game thursday night.
