Hi Don, Patrick elevated himself to not being understood by Barrons, maybe I should check where the moon is!

Glad you said Y2k, I've just plunked down the cost of a house on that sector and expect it to run.. favorite stock is TAVA, with some in DDIM on the selloff today, SPNSF and SYNT. The press and topical nature of this almost science fiction happening will IMO create a land rush.

My old text on yearly timing of sectors says that March is when the airlines turn down. I've been shopping for tickets to Europe and been finding better fares every week. With oil prices dropping they can afford to compete.

OSX makes sense.. they've really been beaten down from extremes on the high side.

XCI is a little confusing with some new highs in the components.

Regarding the day before expiration puts.. may chicken trade tomorrow... plenty of time <g> Besides the odds are gettin into the 250/1 area that we should be down... so I'll try selling any rally, maybe one in the morning get out.. then go short again on the bounce for an exit before the close. Friday I'd be on the sidelines unless its for two months out on options... too much premium is dropped over the weekend.

Jim

. I dont need to
get run over by a freight train to give me a hint.

Don Don Don...you have already been run over by a crazy freight train being ridden by Patricks cowboys.......those puts made sense but you lost money....kind of reminds me of some of my Dell put trades based on Money Flow etc etc etc...made that mistake a couple of times..and after the train flattened me (more than once) I listened to the DellHead David W. who told me never short the good ship.....

no Dell doesnt go straight up...but I dont do Dell puts anymore.......
