synchro, I am ashamed to admit that one of the reasons that I bought TLAB was because George Gilder was so jacked up about Steinbrecher and its potential that it seemed more important than the 2nd coming. Now, if you ask me what in god's name Steinbrecher is, or does, or why it's fundamental to the continuance of Western Civilization, my answer is that I don't have a clue. Now that I have firmly established MY TOTAL IGNORANCE, does anyone else want to try? As a wild stab, does it have anything to do with all optical networks which Mr. Birck told the analysts at the last CC was busily cooking away in the R&D department or was that the IBM AON team and totally distinct from Steinbrecher? Would somebody please have mercy :) Mike Doyle
