thank you for contributing to the dsl vs modem debate. i am sure it will go on for as long as the mac vs pc debate has raged. i am sorry to infom the macophites, you lost. the moniker goes back to a philosophical notion of tabula rasa or blank tablet, which describes my investment/life style. but when i first enter into a stock, a challenge, a discussion,... i try to put aside my biases and gather the facts. it does not mean i put aside facts and knowledge, i just try to understand the other side and other solutions. that and i graduated with a degree in philosophy. funny thing i have noticed is how people are more trusting of people who use their "real name". i find it funny that people believe these are real names, they could be, they may not be, and even if it were, they do not know the person unless they have been communicating over a period of time. there are signs, such as using a generic mailer as hotmail that the person might be using a fictitious name. i have found the name to my liking, for when the person attacks the moniker, and not the discussion, i know i have met a weak mind and will ignore the person and their comments.
