Eric, nice calculations on margin ... its the same thing I've been thinking but never put pencil to paper (or keyboard to spreadsheet?)

The only other variable is misc hardware (printers, monitors, etc; which must have low margins) and high margin software, but I think all software goes through Claris ... how do Claris's numbers get put into AAPL's ?

Eric, pretty damn clever! And those G3 margins might be more amazing than I thought.

Apple is opening up this morning--looks like a shade below 21 at the moment. Of course Dell is exploding and the whole techs could rage.

Will we see a Nasdaq record today?
