NO, I cannot accept this as an adequate response. If a company knows they are moving they would clearly have everything ready to go on the move day especially communications. The actual moving of filing cabinets furniture etc would come in in stages but communications to the outside world is vital and a mistake like this one is very poor management. There is no reason why a phone line could not be set up so that a receptionist or answering machine could inform callers of the situation.

I guess what I am looking for is if they screwed up with the timing of the phones and the date of the move admit it. They should just say we made a mistake. Then end of discussion.
