(updated by Jake Burns on 1/17/00) MegaWorld (OTCBB:MEGW) is based in Houston, Texas, and has two main lines of business. One is Telephony; the other is Construction. The Telephony business is expected to be an extremely high growth area for MEGW, which is why Charles McPhail brought his Total Building Systems (TBS) construction business into MEGW. He wanted a piece of the Telephony pie. With respect to the Telephony business, MEGW is an integrated service provider offering Co-Location and other services for ISPs and Next Generation Telcos, including Internet Access, Switched Voice and VoIP (Domestic and International), Fax, Messaging, International Private Line, Web Hosting, On-Line Data Storage and E-commerce solutions. MEGW's focus will be on emerging international areas like the Caribbean, Central America and South America. As far as the Construction business goes, TBS constructs modular housing for the Oil industry, and is profitable. I believe this stock could be a great performer for the next couple of years.” | ||||||||||||||
