I can see your point from a TR and strength point of view. I would rather own those too. However, for many of us we have to have some yield in some companies in order to have the income needed and then we can pivot some to invest for growth. Well. at least that is where I am. So, If I need yield perhaps, I would buy UPS, which is a good company but if I am more growth focused perhaps, I would buy Fed Ex instead. I am paying more attention to your comments regarding growth than I used to, because I have achieved the income I wanted and now would like to add some growth. The comment you made about sectors and the best companies within that sector is not anything I remember thinking about before! Thanks for the tip (ie the education).
Have NKE in Sons's account and I am trying to get him to sell it while we still have a decent profit. We own COST and I would put the funds there. We will see how convincing I can be!

I saw clips of people noodling on TV. Always made me feel apprehensive. What if there was one of those alligator snapping turtles in a noodle hole?
