You guys are *harsh*... As one guy here put it, you need a fire-proof suit to expose yourself on this thread. While your comments are always welcome, I would appreciate it if you all could not personally insult me or others here at Datek Online. At the very least, it dissuades us from coming on-line here and answering your questions. We are, after all, on the same team. I would like to accomodate everybody when it comes to Datek Online's web sites. But other than having a horde of login buttons or slowing down every function by letting you pick your own report formats (its coming, of course, but not today) we have to compromise. Everybody has their own opinion on the tradeoffs between prettiness and readability and faster download time... Believe me, everybody here at Datek Online wants all our customers to be more than satisfied with our web site and our service, and these issues are HOTLY debated. coffee has been spilled. Swords have been drawn. Laser tag has been played over html formatting issues... So, lets vote and see what we can come up with. Everybody can respond here with all but the last 2 letters of their username to verify that you are indeed a customer, along with the following letters to indicate their preferences for the final "CLASSIC" site... Post here, so everybody can see your vote. If you dont want to use your incomplete username, thats ok, but I won't really know if you are a customer. If you have not seen a backup server, and don't know what it looks like, please don't vote until you check it out. an example post might be MEAD99 A or MEAD99 D choices on the "new" classic server.... A - I want the fastest, plainest possible web site, no colors, no pretty fractions, and no access to charts, news, etc.... B - I want easy access to charts, news, etc. C - I like the background colors on the quotes table D - I like the fancy fractions on the quotes tables Datek Online will not be making decisions based solely upon these quotes, but I am curious. -peter stern CTO Datek Online
