Eric, The race to the bottom - is allowing one side free reign to break laws, commit sins and get away with it because - you know they are for the people or some shit. Wrong. It's allowing BOTH sides free rein to break laws, commit sins, and get away with it because, you know, they are for the people or some shit. And it's all because you have given up on trying to hold the "other side" accountable for their transgressions. Hence if the "other side" is going to get away with it anyway, so should yours.
