Ramsey - I sensed political innuendo in the last line of your previous comment. No?

From a non-technoid point of view it would appear to be a snap to have a path from CDMA/GSM overlay to W-CDMA. After all, the Qpooch has already related that they could have configured IS-95 at 5 MHz. Maybe some translation required but has to be minor.

Remember, CDMA/GSM overlay is Wideband Already Inside (compared to GSM). Terms are important for the Spin Meisters. So transition to W-CDMA should seen as a transition to an Even-Wider-Band-CDMA. (EW-CDMA for short.)
