Anyone think the stock will take off this week? End of the month is Friday after all...
_________________________________________________________
from this week's EE Times, page 31 (The Buzz):

Before the month is out, the industry could see plans for a nationwide
rollout of Ricochet, the wireless Internet-access service now provided by Metricom Inc. in San Francisco, Seattle and Washington. The rollout is largely bankrolled by Paul Allen's Vulcan Ventures, which upped its stake in Metricom to 49.5%, or $55.8 million, as of Feb 2. At press time, officials at Vulcan and Metricom were forging details for expanding the service.

"Wiring" a city for Ricochet's spread-spectrum radio system is complicated, but Metricom officials think the service can easily go into most of the 25 largest metropolitan areas in the United States.
