Thanks Ray, also a lurker but appreciated your succinct, and uhm..mmm, understandable discourse particularly on antennas. The uhm ..mmm is directed at an earlier contributor who appeared to be regurgitating quantum physics 504. Made me feel inferior for about a month. I understand radar beamers though. Fma

Ray,

Thanks a bunch for "butting in." Nice overview. I pretty much had a handle on the stuff (I ain't no EE or RF engineer) from my Navy days with radars, signals, comms--I can't say any more.

Now if we can just finish this build out and start bringing in the cash.

Kevin

P.S. Up 1 5/15 on 3.2 Mil shares with the Dow off 75.

Ray:
Even though I didn't ask the questions, thanks it was interesting INFO.

What persuaded you to participate? When did you join and how much are the dues now?

Phil

Ray, welcome aboard!

It's good to have someone with a technical background that doesn't use charts. LOL

Could you please shed some light on the following?

A Sprint PCS salesman was in my office a while back and claimed that because Nextel uses 800 Mhz spectrum it's not "true" digital and can be cloned more easily than the Sprint PCS.

Is this true?

Thanks in advance,

Ron

Ray: Thanks for the info, I loose. Guess Nextel is not SMR two way radio. At least the digital above 400mhz.

I was under the false impression that Nextel was merely enhanced two way radio, live and learn.

Thanks
Al
