Qone0, I agree with you regarding independents, but for a slightly different reason. It's really hard to lump independents together. Often said independents are defined more by their differences than by any commonality. But here's the thing about Trump's rhetoric. Hardly any of it is catered toward winning independents as they are. Instead, his rhetoric aims to convert independents (and maybe some liberals) into card-carrying members of the alt-right. In other words, if any of Trump's bullshit resonates with you, chances are you are no longer an "independent." Instead, you are full-blown MAGA. And I have every reason to believe that MAGA isn't adding any new members, unlike Hope and Change 2.0. Tenchusatsu
