Hubert and the Bear Piles, Dimensions vs. Dementia First off, I love your punny lines and your points of view. I wish everyone put as much thought into the delivery of their posts. But what one can charm in delivery, one can lack in substance. Lets examine the Bear Piles to see what the Bear has been eating. 1. BAAT background. What is Joe's experience and what has he patented before? What other companies has he run or run with? What is the background of Ron Holland the developer of the technology? What is the background of Bill Wason. Answer: little. (Anyone please add) Joe supposedly worked for an East coast Edison co. as an engineer. Nothing has been mentioned that he has been an entrepreneur before arriving at BAAT. However an unconfirmed post mentioned that he was involved in a Pulse wave patent to do with water propulsion. I do not have a confirmation on this. he has an uncommon name so a name check can be done with the US patent office. His attorney friend in Utah mentioned in the USA Today is not so stellar in reputation. Ron Holland? Bill Wason is a former Alaskan and is affiliated with environmental concerns. He helped write the legislation that was just introduced in CA for a sales tax abatement for vehicles with 65 mpg or more fuel efficiency. Seems to me that a Scam company wouldn't bother to have a political agenda. The Bear pile here is warm, but not hot. 2. Scam of the Century? Are you crying "Tucker". I'm Afraid that Europeans and Japanese are not so archaic as Big Three at fielding technology. It is interesting to note that most of the "little" fuel efficient cars marketed in US by big three were previously tested and fielded in Europe (or are Japanese built) before being sold here. WHY? competition is keener in Europe. Even folks with commonsense and MONEY refuse to feed their cars with Arab fuel. National strategies and policies also support fuel efficiency and conservation for national interests. On this point, all one has to remember that it was the big three that gave us the Vega and Pinto(and the closest Chrysler came was the Dart). If the big three didn't miss the boat then we probably would not have the Lexus or Infinitis today, nor would VW be what it is. Answer: 95 mpg deployable technology without retooling.....hmmm The pile here is cold and rock hard. The bear checked out during the January test run. Big three conspiracies? I too do not subscribe to such whinings. I look for cold hearted business strategy. If I was an OEM, I would keep BAAT on the shelf as long as possible. The auto industry is not the computer industry where the technology turns over every six months. Auto technology changes slowly and then its deployment is premeditated. Remember the early GM diesels (converted gas engines)? They sucked GM (Cadillac)of market share (to Lincoln Continental) and GM learned not to jump too fast on any wave until its time. The auto boys are cautious and very entrenched in the status quo. Their attitude is that BAAT technology is premature on their product development scenarios and biz plans. The Big three will have fuel efficient vehicles in seven to ten years. BAAT is a bothersome company that is screwing up the 3, 5 and 7 year plans. If an OEM adopts and deploys BAAT technology now they will create a fuel efficiency war that will suck money from the bottomline while they spend a fortune revamping engines and engaging in a marketing war. This is not conspiracy, this is business. The objective is to make money not field technology. Any one upsmanship would be short lived. Wait for the technology to prove itself in Europe and then slip back to here. Hubert the pile here is cold. I am amazed at your comments are warning outbursts are loud and clear, (there not punny) but are only backed up by your experience with losers. Just because you have friends in low places("half of those posting tonight will be out of the stock tommorrow evening") doesn't mean that BAAT will swim or sink. BAAT will swim or sink on its own merits not by the deeds of SEXI or others. The little ones left with the last passing. BAAT is for real just like the bear piles in the woods. Give me the benefit of your contrarian insights. BTW Hubert, have you ever seen a hot smelly pile and know that Mr. Brown or Mr. Black (bear) was watching from the bushes just waiting to see if you would mess with his territorial mark; knowing full well that a Mr. Brown or Mr. Black can run up to 50 mph and is probably no more than 50 feet from you? ( You can always smell a bear, but you can't always see them) . Smart Alaskans don't have such fecal desires. As far as twinkies in the woods?(They don't pack well) Please give me the dimensions and basis for your opinions. I'm listenting but I'm hearing the pangs of dementia that sounds more like chicken little. Or is this the plan.....to get some more cheap shares? Strong statements with no substance to back them is not ignoring the obvious. Please tell me that I am missing something of substance. The Alaskan
