FDA Drug Safety Communication: FDA warns that gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCAs) are retained in the body; requires new class warnings
fda.gov [From 2018.]

So, after 15 or 16 of these, I learn they are not good for people having chronic inflammation. But such side effects are certainly endurable if the contrast solution helps to resolve life-threatening issues, especially when they are used to guide highly delicate robotic surgeries.

Yeah - they poison you based on a B.S. claim that it improves the MRI results. ...

As to "poison", everything is a poison in the right dose.
Even dihydrogen monoxide.

When I go go an MRI, they take into account how many times previously that I've had contrast agents. They use it only when necessary.

As to "improves the MRI results", yes it does.

MRI is a fascinating topic - worthwhile to learn about.
