Yes. But a Wave four can also retrace to that level provided it does not go below the Wave one high of the same degree. I'll post a SOXX chart soon.

I_T_J, here's the SOXX Wave Count Update. If Wave 4 falls below 208.47 this wave count will be invalidated. If that happens then the alternate (red) wave count will be in play. This means that Wave 4 did not complete. Can it decline to the place holder price? I don't know. I just made Wave Y equal to Wave W's decline. A WXY pattern would be a ABCXABC
