This is a valid point.
You can be like uncle WB who buys stocks with a very very long time frame. That kind of investment has a very different logic and different analysis.

However, everyone should note that Bufett did not invest this way 40 years ago. A big part of why his time frame and market cap criteria has increased is because the size of his fund has increased so much.

Hypothetically, if Buffette believed BFLY is the greatest value in the world, he still wouldn't buy it because it could go up 10x and still won't make a dent in his performance.
