"You would not be a good risk manager if you let what you believe affect your plans." applies in both directions.

I had expected a market sell off today. But that did not stop me from buying so much that I literally ended up with zero buying power.

I've since freed up another 5% for more purchases.

Just thought you may want to know.

To repeat, it is not how often you are right. It is what you do when you are right and when you are wrong. Never trust your own advice any more than you'd trust someone else' advice.
