Group rival to KKR/Texas Pacific consists of Liberty Partners, Insurance Partners (Robert Bass, CMB, Zurich Ins.), Cerebus Partners and Madison Dearborn.

Rival group's package comes with Daniel Crowley. Oxford does not like Crowley's blunt style. KKR package comes with Payson which Oxford favors.

An interesting development.
